Super Mountain Bread & Diamonds offers freshly baked sourdough bread by the michelin-starred super chef Paolo Casanova in combination with the unique designs of the up-and-coming jewelry designer Angelo De Luca.
In nearby Madulain, Paolo Casanova develops new recipes for Bread & Diamonds that represent the highest quality using regional, organic certified ingredients. Paolo's sourdough bread lasts at least a week and is easier to digest than conventional, industrially produced bread thanks to the special sourdough.
Angelo De Luca is a St. Moritz based jewelry designer. Since his childhood he was attracted by the lights, the colours of the gemstones and the sparkle of the jewels.
“Jewellery is the language through which I express emotion,” says De Luca. “Every piece I design holds a hidden detail – a quiet secret that invites an intimate connection. I’m drawn to gemstones that resonate on more than just an aesthetic level. For me, beauty lies not only in quality, but in empathy. When a ruby speaks to me, I listen. Over time, I’ve come to believe: it is not we who choose the jewel – it is the jewel that chooses us.”
